The Tour de Singkarak 2011 takes cyclists over 760,3 kilometers through the beautiful surrounds of West Sumatra. Building on the success of last years race, this year, the race has extended from four to six stages.
As cyclists make their way from the starting point in Padang through to the final finish line at Lake Singkarak they will travel through some of the regions finest landscapes. West Sumatra is renowned for it’s beautiful scenery, cultural attractions and delicious local cuisine.
The Categories of the race is 2.2 and the tour forms part of the Asia Tours 2011 Constitute Combination, an official event of the Union Cycliste Internationale.
